St. Paul, MN. -- (October 3rd, 2017) -- Structural, the pioneer of Employee Success Management, today announced at the Twin Cities eX Summit its newest integration with Slack, the leading workplace communication tool. The integration allows internal teams to connect via the popular platform, in addition to communication options within Structural including email, voice, text, posts, and polls.

The Slack integration is the newest addition to Structural’s robust catalog of existing integrations with leading HRIS systems and business technology providers, such as Google’s G Suite, Microsoft Azure and others.

“We’re thrilled to be integrating with Slack, which is now used by over 9 million people and nearly half of the Fortune 100," said Scott Burns, CEO & Co-founder of Structural.  “Allowing our customers to communicate inside of Structural using Slack helps organizations solve problems faster, get more work done, and supports our mission of unleashing the potential of people and teams.”

The announcement took place today from the Twin Cities Employee Experience (eX) Summit, held at Surly Brewery with over 150 attendees, drawing heavily from professionals in Human Resources, Talent Development, and Diversity & Inclusion. Speakers from Best Buy, Medtronic, LeadPages, BI Worldwide, and others participated to discuss how organizations can builder stronger cultures, recruit and retain talent more effectively by creating stronger employee experiences.

“Slack is useful if you already know who you’re looking for within your organization, but it doesn’t provide employee profiles. It only works when you already already know who you need to connect with,” said Eric Tobias, Partner at High Alpha Venture Studio, a firm that uses the integration. “Structural allows us to search for the right person within our geographically dispersed organization, then connect with them on Slack when we have relevant information about who they are, where they work, and how to best interact within them.”

“Slack helps organizations connect their teams, but isn’t great at helping them learn about their people or help them grow. It isn’t practical to rely on Slack to surface real insights about expertise or development,” said Burns. “Structural bridges this gap by putting employee skills and interests front and center.”
